Her calling led her westward to Alberta, where she served as a government social worker and steadily rose through the ranks, eventually reaching early retirement by choice due to the systemic challenges she faced as a government employee and victim of domestic violence in her union. But following a difficult divorce, she lost everything and was forced to rebuild—not only her brand but her identity, as a single mother of five, deeply committed to her purpose.
